GranEnergia hosts 1st Compliance Day and reinforces commitment to integrity

On December 4, 2024, GranEnergia held its 1st Compliance Day, under the theme “Integrity Starts With Me”. The event took place simultaneously at the Macaé Base and aboard the offshore units Olympia, Venus, and Polaris, with the participation of members from Gran Services.

The initiative reinforced the company’s commitment to ethics, respect, and integrity across its operations. The program included lectures and discussions on relevant topics such as harassment prevention and the individual’s role in building an ethical culture. A highlight of the event was the real testimony of a whistleblower who used GranEnergia’s Listening Channel, demonstrating the seriousness and effectiveness of the tool.

The event featured two main presentations: one on the central theme “Integrity Starts With Me”, delivered by the Compliance Officer, Nathalia Fuentes; and another by labor attorney Gabriela Locks, addressing the prevention of workplace harassment and sexual misconduct. The opening remarks were given by the company’s President, Miguel Gradin, who emphasized the importance of integrity in everyday decision-making.

During the event, GranEnergia launched its new Code of Ethics and Conduct, and announced the winners of the cultural contest that named the company’s compliance mascot: the octopus “Octopliance”.

The event brought together around 400 participants, both in person and remotely, demonstrating broad engagement with the topic and marking another step in promoting an ethical, safe, and well-governed organizational culture.
