Integrity in Focus: GranEnergia holds 2nd Compliance Meeting for Suppliers
On November 27, 2024, GranEnergia held its 2nd Compliance Meeting for Suppliers, a remote event that brought together representatives from approximately 30 partner companies. The meeting reinforced the company’s commitment to ethics, transparency, and compliance across its value chain.
Key highlights:
- New supplier assessment procedure: The Procurement team presented the updated supplier management process, focused on risk-based classification, continuous monitoring, and annual reassessments, in line with ISO 9001, 37001, 14001, and 45001 standards. Periodic updates of mandatory documents will now be required.
- Updated Code of Ethics and Conduct: The Compliance team introduced the new version of the Code of Ethics and Conduct, featuring a more accessible format and reinforcing legal and ethical obligations applicable to suppliers—particularly in areas such as integrity, environmental, labor, and anti-corruption compliance.
- Listening Channel available to supplier: GranEnergia’s Listening Channel, now available to suppliers and other external stakeholders, was also presented. The channel ensures confidentiality and allows for anonymous reporting of any conduct that may violate the company’s ethical guidelines.
